Make-up Academy: The Essential Look
How to: Step-by-step to a fresh Glow
You want to look unbelievably fresh and glowy? Then we have the right inspiration here: Our industry expert Michael Mayer will tell you step by step how to create this special make-up look and what you need for it.
# 1
"First I start with the 'Skin Prep', so that the skin is well moisturized and perfectly prepared for the make-up. For this I use the richer "The Rich Cream" from Augustinus Bader.
# 2
"Next, I will shape the lashes with Surratt Beauty's 'Relevee Lash Curler'."
# 3
"Now I put a few drops of Kosas' "Tinted Face Oil" in the palm of my hand and work it into the skin with a compact polishing brush (e.g. "Skin2Skin Foundation Brush" by RMS Beauty)".
# 4
"Next, apply the "Lit up Highlighter Stick" from Westman Atelier to the cheekbones (careful, don't get too close under the eye!), a touch on the brow arch and on the lips, with tapping movements".
# 5
"I define the eyebrows minimally with Roen's "VowBrow" and fix them with Surratt's "Expressioniste Brow Pomade"."
# 6
"No Eyshadow Eyeshadow" by Pericone I love for a nude look. I apply it with my fingers on the movable eyelid and take care that no edges are created. Tip: Use a lightly bound brush to blend the edges well.
# 7
"Coral is a must-have for the face. "Emotion" by Chantecaille is just such a tone and is applied to the cheeks with a brush with slightly circling movements. Tip: The most intensive tinting is in the middle of the cheeks and it runs more easily or blended to the outside.
# 8
"To give the eyes a little more contour, I place "The Precision Liquid Liner Basic Black" by Kevyn Aucoin close to the upper lash line for an optical compression."
# 9
"Lip Suede" by Westman Atelier is a palette for very different looks. For this make-up I used a tightly bound eyeshadow brush and worked the tomato red into the lips."
Have fun with the make-up!
